FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: front gantry pipe-laying machine includes a power frame with lifting mechanisms, which is installed on a transport support. The top of the frame is provided with the following: a hydraulic power station, an electric generator and a fuel tank. A cabin with a control panel is installed on the external side of the frame. The lifting mechanism is made in the form of load carriages with hydraulic cylinders installed on guides above the frame with possibility of moving carriages in transverse direction relative to longitudinal axis of the frame. Load carriage is connected to slip hooks through a stock of a load hydraulic cylinder. The transport support is installed on four trucks. On inner side surface of the frame there located are thrust hydraulic cylinders intended for fixation of transported section of pipeline against side sway. Slip hooks are made considering their replacement for diameter of a pipeline being built; at that, slip hooks and side thrusts are equipped with soft contact gaskets providing protection of insulation of the pipeline against damage during lifting, transportation and erection works.
EFFECT: enlarging functional capabilities of the pipe-laying machine.
