FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: sample is placed between two external and two internal supports. External and internal supports are pressed to rigid limiters with a bending sample. The sample is maintained at specified test conditions. Compensating force is applied to internal supports. The value of the compensating force is measured at the moment of start of internal supports movement from the rigid limiter. Stress in the sample is defined according to the specified value of the compensating force. Compensating load is removed.
EFFECT: increased validity of determination of relaxation dependence for radiated samples by results of periodic measurements of relaxing stress, simplified remotely made measurement operations, increased limit parameters and duration of tests for stress relaxation in bending of a flat sample.
