FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: broadband device for measurement of electric field intensity comprises ferroelectric elements with electrodes in the form of identical ferroelectric capacitors of alternating capacitance - voltage variable capacitors, installed outside the zone of measured electric field coverage. At the same time the voltage variable capacitors are included into opposite arms of a bridge electric circuit, identical capacitors of permanent capacitance equal to capacitance of voltage variable capacitors in the initial condition are included into other two opposite arms of the bridge circuit. The arms of the bridge circuit also include matched sources of permanent electric shift of voltage variable capacitors, to the input diagonal of the bridge circuit a symmetrical or a non-symmetrical electric antenna is connected, being available in the measured electric field, besides, in parallel to the input diagonal of the bridge circuit an electronic switchboard and a low-resistance resistor are connected in series to each other, and to the output diagonal of the bridge circuit there is a synchronous detector connected.

EFFECT: increased sensitivity and broadbandness in a range from permanent to quick-changing electric fields.
