FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: air drive consists of case accommodating cams with rear parts composed of racks, cam feed mechanism arranged on shafts between supports interacting with racks and teeth on can rear ends, and air cylinder rod. To ensure reliable case billet fastening by allowing rotation of air drive irrespective of air cylinder rod, cam drive mechanism is composed of levers with toothed mechanism, level split keys fitted on shafts of thrust bearings to transmit force from air cylinder via rod to thrust bearings via split keys and toothed levers to racks.
EFFECT: reliable billet clamping.
