SUBSTANCE: there are described new polycyclic compounds, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof of general formula wherein R₁ -phenyl, pyridyl, optionally substituted, or C_3-7-cycloalkyl; R₂ -H, -CH₂R₃, -C(=O)R₃, -C(=O)N(R₄)R₃, and -SO₂-pyridyl, wherein R₃-H, C_1-6 alkyl, C_2-6 alkenyl, C_3-7-cycloalkyl, -(CH₂)_m-phenyl -(CH₂)_m-(5-, 6- or 9-member heterocyclyl with 1-3 heteroatoms N, O or S); m is equal to 0-6; R₄ -H; X represents O or S; the alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl and heterocyclyl groups may be substituted by one or more substitutes. A together with atoms whereto attached forms phenyl or heteroaryl with 1 or 2 nitrogen atoms, optionally substituted; B-C means -CH₂-(CH₂)_z-, wherein z is equal to 1 or 2; D represents -CR^IIIR^IV-, wherein R^III and R^IV are identical, and mean CH₃ or H; or R^III and R^IV together with the atom C whereto attached form a 3-member cycloalkyl ring, a pharmaceutical composition containing them, and the use of the above compounds for treating viral RSV infections.
