FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: preferably part (10) is a blade. Part (10) includes main part (15) and a leading edge. The leading edge at least on some portion of length of the above part is formed with sheet (60) of material, and namely with shape-memory alloy. Sheet (60) is fixed on the main part (15) and is spread from inner surface (30) to outer surface (50) of the main part (15) so that space (70) is formed between the sheet and front edge (20) of the main part (15). The material is capable at deformation that is lower than maximum deformation (ε2) of being reversely and superelastically deformed at collision with a foreign object without any damage to the main part (15). Part (10) manufacturing method involves the following: blunting of a leading edge of the main part (15); fixation on the main part (15) of material sheet (60) so that sheet (60) restores the leading edge profile of the above main part prior to blunting of that leading edge.
EFFECT: achieving deformation of the part leading edge under action of collision with a foreign object without any damage to the main portion of the part and restoration of initial shape after collision with high energy.
