FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device has a photoelectric multiplier 1 and a dichroic mirror 2, placed in a light-proof casing 3 with an entrance window 4 in the lower base in which there is a blind 6. An exit window 5 is made in the sidewall of the casing 3. In front of the entrance window 4 there is a contactless heater 7. Behind the exit window 5 there is a pyrometre 8. The dichroic mirror 2 is placed in the casing 3 between the entrance window 4 and the photoelectric multiplier 1 such that the centre of the mirror 2 lies at the intersection of axes, one of which passes through the longitudinal axis of the blind 6, the central axes of the entrance window 4 and the photoelectric multiplier 1, and the other passes through the central axes of the exit window 5 of the casing 3 and the entrance window of the pyrometer 8. The surface fo the dichroic mirror 2 is directed at the same angle to both axes. The output of the photoelectric multiplier 1 is connected by a signal converter 9 to the first input of a control device 10, the second input of which is connected to the output of the pyrometer 8. The output of the control device 10 is connected to contactless heater 7.
EFFECT: reduced error in determining dose in normal operating conditions and high mechanical action, reduced error in determining dose when operating in fields created by several types of ionising radiation, wider range of measuring dose, simple design of the device.
