SUBSTANCE: device for aerosol marking of an air crash site by creating a colour spot in contrast with a background consists of an apparatus for determining an emergency situation at certain flight parameters, a low-altitude radio altimeter with an omnidirectional antenna and a self-contained power supply, an aerosol installation comprising a cylinder with a compressed gas and an aerosol paint composition, as well as a valve with an outlet opening which is fitted with a manometer for monitoring the state of the aerosol installation. The method is characterised by use of the device.
EFFECT: longer range of visual detection of an air crash site.
