SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely dentistry and physiotherapy, and may be used for treating osteoarthrosis of the temporomandibular joint. For this purpose, nicotinic acid 1 ml is administered intramuscularly immediately before the physiotherapeutic exposure. That is followed by the exposure of the masseter muscle from the direction of the involved joint to DiaDENS-PKM apparatus. An active electrode is fixed in a position to be applied on a face skin surface on a tender point of the masseter muscle. The electric stimulation intensity is specified to be similar to a comfort energy level. The pulse frequency is found in the mode of "7710". The procedure length is 10 minutes. The physiotherapeutic course is combined with administering mydocalm 450 mg a day. The length of the therapeutic course is 10 days.

EFFECT: method provides a minimised length of one physiotherapeutic session and increases its physiological value, ensures pain relief, a sustainable therapeutic effect on the tenth therapeutic day by increasing microcirculation, functional and morphological changes of the tissues.
