SUBSTANCE: described is an adhesive composition which contains a product of reaction of a mixture containing the following: A) at least one functionalised ethylene-based polymer, formed by reacting an ethylene-based polymer with density of 0.94-0.965 g/cm³ and flow melt index (I₂) equal to or greater than 10 g/10 min, with at least one anhydride-containing compound and/or at least one carboxylic acid-containing compound; B) at least one ethylene-based polymer; C) at least one anhydride-containing compound and/or at least one carboxylic acid-containing compound; and where the composition contains one or more graft anhydride-containing compounds and/or one or more graft carboxylic acid-containing compounds in an amount of 0.05-1 wt % of the total weight of the composition. Described also is an article having at least one component formed from said composition, where the article is an adhesive or a pipe. Described is an adhesive which contains at least one component formed from said composition. Described is a pipe having at least one component formed from said composition. Described also is a dispersion which contains said composition and water or an organic solvent.

EFFECT: obtaining an adhesive with improved adhesion and improved peel resistance.
