FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: tests are performed with measurements of engine parameters at various operating conditions within programmed range of flight modes for particular engine range to reference measured parameters to standard atmospheric conditions with due allowance for variation of working body properties and geometric characteristics of engine wheel space. For this, engine mathematical model is premade and corrected using the results of sufficient quantity of engines to define engine parameters at standard atmospheric conditions and various temperatures with the volume of accepted program. Actual magnitudes of parameters are referenced to standard magnitudes to compute correction factors for measured parameters. The latter are reduced by multiplying measured magnitudes by deviation of actual magnitude from standard value with due allowance for correction factors. Developed versions of tests are applicable for development, pilot and industrial production, commercial production and in operation of aircraft engines.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and reliability of defining engine important parameters in wide range of climatic temperature conditions, lower labour input, power savings, longer life.
