SUBSTANCE: proposed cast iron comprises the following components, wt %: carbon 3.0-3.4; silicon 0.8-1.2; manganese 0.4-0.8; aluminium 0.04-0.08; copper 2.2-2.6; vanadium 0.6-0.8; hafnium 0.15-0.2; boron 0.1-0.15; silver 0.0001-0.0002, iron making the rest.
EFFECT: higher strength.
