SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to cast iron composition. Cast iron contains components in the following ratio, wt %: carbon 3.0-3.4; silicon 0.8-1.2; manganese 0.4-0.8; aluminium 0.3-0.4; copper 2.2-2.6; vanadium 0.6-0.8; nitrogen 0.001-0.002; tin 0.001-0.002; antimony 0.001-0.002; hafnium 0.8-1.2; indium 0.001-0.002; silver 0.001-0.002; the rest is iron.
EFFECT: enhanced strength of cast iron.
