SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly, to method of damage control in case of hull breach. Method of increasing survivorship of bathyscaphe comprises hull with inner bearing shell and outer shell inner space communicated with ambient medium and separated into compartments consists in arranging the hull functionality recovery device composed of one, preferably, two-three layers of elastic strap with one edge locked at interhull space structural element to allow displacement of strap free edge in normal to hull surface and, at least, along said surface in one direction, preferably two directions along hull structural shell.
EFFECT: simplified process, faster recovery.
