SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly, to method of damage control in case of hull breach. Method of increasing survivorship of submarine vessel comprising hull to house service equipment including engine unit with propulsor. Note here Said hull comprises structural inner shell and outer skin to make inner space communicated with outer medium and divided by bulkheads into compartments. Note here that said method consists in arranging the device for recovery of the hull serviceability. Device to recovery of submarine null functionality is arranged in interhull compartments and composed of one, preferably, two-three layers of elastic strap with one edge locked at interhull space structural element to allow displacement of strap free edge in normal to hull surface and, at least, along said surface, preferably in two directions.

EFFECT: simplified process, faster recovery.
