FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry of organosulphur compounds and methods of producing aromatic organic compounds which contain disulphide groups, and use thereof as stabilisers of oxidative processes in thermoplastic polymers. A method of producing aromatic polydisulphides by dissolving starting products and optional dissolution of the obtained polymer which contains disulphide groups, by carrying out the reaction at temperature which is 2-3°C below the boiling point of the solvent, by evaporating the solvent at temperature, followed by washing the finished product with hot water and drying to constant weight.
EFFECT: technologically improved process for synthesis of aromatic polydisulphides.
