SUBSTANCE: first communication device receives an emergency situation notification from a transmitting unit which indicates a cell associated with the first communication device, wherein user equipment should receive an emergency situation notification; the first communication device determines a paging channel for paging and transmission within the notification cell, indicating an emergency situation and assigns to transmit a notification indicating an emergency situation over the paging channel; the first communication device determines a common control channel for transmitting an emergency situation acknowledgement message within the cell, and assigns to transmit the emergency situation acknowledgement message over the common control channel.
EFFECT: user equipment emergency situation reporting in an efficient and reliable manner.
