FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of silicates and glaze compositions for applying on ceramic tiles and glazed tiles. The glaze composition contains the following, wt %: quartz sand 61.0-62.0; borax 9.0-13.0; alumina 5.0-6.0; potash 5.0-6.0; zirconium dioxide 5.0-6.0; bone ash 9.0-13.0. A glaze suspension is deposited on the surface of ceramic articles, dried in air and fired at temperature of 1100-1150°C. The glaze has heat resistance of 25-30 thermal cycles.
EFFECT: high heat-resistance of the glaze.
