FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealing compounds and may be used in optical instrument making for sealing of instruments operated under high and low temperatures. The compound contains the following components, wt %: ceresin wax - 28.5; pine rosin - 9.5; bee wax - 28.5; petrolatum - 30.0; castor oil - 1.5; biocide based on 2-octyl-3(2H)-isocyazolone - 2.0.
EFFECT: production of a sealing compound, which makes it possible to freely disassemble sealed instruments and equipment not exposed to biodamages, subsidence and cracks.
