FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: produced helium-containing natural gas is compressed at the first and following linear compressor stations, and its flow (11) is transported in main gas line (1) to an end consumer with extractions and taps for several intermediate consumers (6). Extracted tapped high-pressure flow is supplied via pipeline (2) to station (3) for cleaning from helium, where it is passed along surface of selective permeable membrane (4). Some part of tapped flow, which has not penetrated through the membrane, turns out to be partially cleaned from helium, and the other part of the flow, which has penetrated through the membrane, is rich in helium. Some part of the tapped flow, which is cleaned from helium and has not penetrated through the membrane, is supplied via pipeline (5) to intermediate consumer (6). The rest part of the tapped flow, which has penetrated through the membrane and is rich in helium, is supplied via pipeline (7) in the form of return flow through flow supply device (14) to main gas line (1) in gas flow direction in the gas line below tapped flow extraction device (12).

EFFECT: reduction of energy losses for cleaning of natural gas from helium, which is supplied to a consumer, and improvement of processibility and simplification of the cleaning method.
