FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of transporting materials through a pipeline using a pneumatic-hydraulic carrier in the gas industry and can be used to ensure stable flow of the process of operation of the membrane extraction unit of the helium concentrate. Method includes initial determination of required volume of gas for loading installation QLOAD, its start-up, retention of the retentate into the main gas line from the first output line of the plant with extraction of gas for process discharges to the flare and for own needs, removal of permeate from the second output line of the plant. Volume of gas supplied from low-temperature separation plant to bypass line is measured using first gas flow rate measuring unit, measurement of volume of gas supplied to the main gas line by means of the second gas flow measurement unit and measurement of volume of gas supplied to the discharge line with the help of the third gas flow measurement unit. Thereafter, calculating the park coefficient and specifying therefrom the volume of gas for loading the installation QLOAD, further, this value is corrected using a correction coefficient Y determined based on chromatographic analysis of the prepared gas.

EFFECT: increased degree of automation of technological process due to possibility to take into account change in characteristics of membrane separation equipment operation.
