SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic acoustic transducer for ultrasonic control of specimens from conducting material includes magnetic system (115) for creation of magnetic field penetrating into specimen (160), and unit (140, 300) of inductance coils for creation of alternating electromagnetic field imposed on the above magnetic field in the specimen, and for recording of alternating electromagnetic fields radiated with the specimen; magnetic system (115) is arranged in magnetising assembly (110), and unit of coils in assembly of probe (120), which is separated from the magnetising assembly; constant presence of assembly of probe (120) in the area of magnetic field created with the magnetising assembly is provided, and the probe assembly is installed with possibility of being moved relative to magnetising assembly (110) in the area of magnetic field at operation of the transducer.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of creating electromagnetic acoustic transducer for ultrasonic control, which allows scanning the test specimen at high relative speed, but without any sufficient restrictions related to service life of electromagnetic acoustic transducer of sensitivity of control.
