SUBSTANCE: structure of the earthing device employs rod-shaped inclined earthing leads buried in the ground from a trench with a horizontal earthing lead in the directions of the entrance and exit of the territory of the electric plant. The earthing device can be used on territories where there is high-voltage electrical equipment, lightning protectors and at entrances of buildings with high-voltage electrical equipment.
EFFECT: low total resistance of the earthing device at the entrance of a territory or in a building at electric plants, which increases electrical safety of electric plants, particularly reducing step and contact voltage, the amount of earthing work during installation.
