FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fishing. The branch of a tree growing over the pond, or the upper end of a pole driven obliquely into the bottom or the shore of the pond, is tied firmly to the zherlitsa. On the hook of the zherlitsa a bait fish is secured on which one part of the body the scales are removed to promote its mobility. The bait fish is sunk by dropping from the flyer of the fishing line by at least half the depth of fishing area, the fishing line is clamped in the split of the horn of the flyer. After a pike takes the bait it is removed from the water.
EFFECT: invention increases the likelihood of gripping by pike of the bait.
