FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to small ware, particularly, to repair of zippers. Proposed method can be used to eliminate faults of zippers caused by working loads. Impact load symmetrically distributed relative to zipper baffle plane is applied to zipper case front plate laid by rear plate downward on hard base. Impact load is created by wooden hammer and applied to zipper via the device composed by rectangular section bar with one end rounded and opposite end shaped to right wedge truncated parallel about bar end. Note here that groove is made perpendicular to its mirror plate to divide wedge truncation plane into two equal rectangular part. This device is made of hard timber 120-180 mm in length at bar cross-section of (18-25 mm)×(18-25 mm). Wedge truncation plane width makes 7-9 mm. Said groove features U-like or rectangular section, slot height making 6-8 mm and width making 5-6 mm. Butts of groove plates and wedge truncation plate rectangular parts are rounded to radius of 0.5 mm. This invention allows its use in household conditions.
