FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalyst and method of selective hydration of polyunsaturated hydrocarbon compounds, present in oil fractions, originating mainly from steam of catalytic cracking, into respective alkenes. Described is catalyst, which includes nickel on aluminium oxide carrier; said aluminium-oxide carrier in calcined state has diffractogram obtained by diffraction of X-rays, which includes spectral lines, corresponding to inter-plane distances and relative intensities, listed in dwg.1. Described is method of obtaining catalyst carrier, where carrier is represented by aluminium oxide agglomerate in form of balls, which includes dehydration of aluminium hydroxide or oxyhydroxide by flash-calcination at 400-1200°C, formation of said powder of active aluminium oxide with obtaining balls with density from 500 to 1100 kg/m3, thermal processing at 200-1200°, hydrothermal processing and calcination of thus obtained agglomerates. Described is method of obtaining catalyst carrier, second version, in which carrier is represented by agglome, which includes aluminium oxide-based material extrusion, thermal processing at temperature from 200 to 1200°C, hydrothermal processing and calcination of thus obtained agglomerates. Also described is method of selective hydration, in which said catalyst is brought in contact with load, selected from group, consisting of C3 fraction of water steam cracking, C4 fraction of water steam cracking, C5 fraction of water steam cracking and gasolines of water steam cracking.
EFFECT: obtaining catalysts with improved physical and chemical properties and catalytic characteristics.
