FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to rolling of 300-80 mm-thick sheets at single-stand reversing mill. Proposed method comprises spacing of width, edging and rolling by horizontal and vertical rolls. Note here that rolling by horizontal rolls is carried out with relative reduction and observing definite relations given in description.
EFFECT: ruled out crack formation of edges, decreased shift of cracks from edges to center and side crops.
