FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to VTOL aircraft. VTOL aircraft comprises bypass augmented turbojets, wings, fuselage, sets of jet lift-thrust propulsors with thrust augmentors, pumps to feed hydrocarbon fuel and electrically conducting fluid, and electric pulse generators. Every said bypass augmented turbojet arranged under or above the wing comprises housing with diffuser and jet nozzle, radial- and axial-flow compressors arranged therein and communicated with cylinders connected to combustion chambers. Said cylinders with plug valve arranged therein are communicated with pipes and air ducts to feed compressed air to intake chambers of jet lift-thrust propulsors. Combustion chambers of said turbojet are equipped with combined nozzles to inject the mix of the products of hydrocarbon fuel thermal decomposition and those of thermal decomposition of electrically conducting fluid. Converging nozzles are communicated with cylinders connected to gas turbine distributor. Turbine is provided with shell ring with vanes of high-head blower.
EFFECT: higher power output and reduced fuel consumption.
