FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engines, such as piston internal combustion engines, and gas-turbine and pulsating air-jet engines of wide power output range and possibility of operation on any known hydrocarbon fuels. Proposed device has diffuser, fuel nozzles and: igniter nozzles, combustion chamber with nozzle and electric pulse generator with spark gap. Novelty is that diffuser is provided with antiknock grid with holes over its entire area with fitted-in augers with blades uniformly spaced over circumference. Nozzles have dielectric material chamber accommodating fuel nozzle and ring space communicating with branch to feed concentrated water solution of strong electrolyte. EFFECT: increased efficiency of heat engine, provision of possibility of operation of piston and gas-turbine engines on fuel oil and heavy fuel grades. 2 cl, 6 dwg
