FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: in operating method of a thermal power plant, as per which delivery water in system water heaters is heated with steam of heating extractions of an extraction turbine, waste steam of the extraction turbine is condensed in the extraction turbine condenser, water losses in the heating network are recovered with makeup water that is deaerated in a make-up water deaerator before it is supplied to the heating network, air-steam mixture is discharged from system water heaters of the extraction turbine, air-steam mixture is discharged from system water heaters by a steam-jet ejector, air-steam mixture from system water heaters and working steam of the steam-jet ejector is cooled in an air-steam mixture cooler and a steam-jet ejector cooler with source water supplied to a make-up deaerator, and working steam condensate is discharged from the air-steam mixture cooler and the steam-jet ejector cooler to turbine condenser.
EFFECT: invention allows improving operating economy of a thermal power plant by effective discharge and rational use of heat and mass of air-steam mixture discharged from system water heaters.
