FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: charge is made in the form of a cylindrical monoblock armoured along side surface and attached to a non-detachable front bottom and the front part of the housing. On the side of the rear end face of the charge there is a shaped groove formed with a cylinder surface and surfaces of two flattened cones, one of which is adjacent to the cylinder surface, and the other one comes out onto the charge end face.
EFFECT: invention allows excluding pressure peaks and undershoots in a combustion chamber when a solid-propellant rocket engine is switched to an operating mode.
