FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: wedge free-wheel mechanism includes a drive shaft with an eccentric, on which an intermediate ring is installed in a movable manner and kinematically connected to a frame consisting of two parts. The latter are connected to each other through an elastic coupling so that a gear rim of one part is a continued part of a gear rim of the other part, and an interface plane of the frame parts coincides with the symmetry axis of the intermediate rim and the wedge interacting with it. Wedge has working surfaces inclined to its symmetry axis, which interact with working surfaces of the frame parts, which are inclined to the same plane; at that, the inclination angle is not less than the double friction angle between materials of the above parts.
EFFECT: increasing load-carrying capacity, reducing free motion and improving operating stability of the mechanism.
