FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, and is intended for harvesting headed cabbage. The device comprises feeler units, a shearing machine, receiving-discharge elevator, conveying web with scrapers and flexible support elements on the transversal generators, final cutters of bud axes, table of completion. In the inclined part of the elevator a bottom with flap door is mounted. The device comprises leaf-separator which is mounted in front of a shearing machine. The leaf-separator is a set of elastic plates attached to the frames. The tips of the frames are raised, and the ends of the frames are pressed to the soil surface. The plates are fixed to the frames in the bottom so that the beginning of each subsequent elastic plate is applied with overlapping on the end of the previous one, at that each subsequent plate appears to be closer to the surface of the soil. The last plate slides along the soil. The nose part of the curved blades of the shearing machine moves over the penultimate plates. Cutting of the cabbage head is carried out above the last plate.

EFFECT: invention provides improvement of quality of cabbage heads harvested on the field.
