ICE LUBRICATION SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC F01M1/10

Abstract RU 2491428 C1

FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed lubrication system comprises oil tank, filler with controlled indicator, primary pup with bypass valve with its inlet communicated with said tank and its outlet communicated via with thermostat and oil cooler with self-cleaning filter, outlet of the latter being connected with temperature relay and oil pressure relay. It includes extra pump with electric drive and bypass valve. Extra pump outlet is communicated with centrifugal filters with booster valves arranged at their inlets. Outlets of centrifugal filters are communicated with said tank. Besides it comprises ejector installed at extra pump inlet and check valves. First check valve is connected parallel with extra pump. Second check valve inlet is communicated with oil tank while second check valve outlet is connected with one of ejector inlets. Ejector second inlet is connected with self-cleaning filter dirt concentrate discharge line. Outputs of temperature and oil pressure gages are connected to control inputs of extra pump drive motor while main oil line is communicated with ICE. Oil leaks from ICE units into aforesaid tank accommodating ultrasound chamber with one inlet connected with filler and control indicator. Chamber second inlet is connected with self-cleaning filter while chamber outlet is connected with oil tank. Ultrasound chamber cover has capillary oil line comb outlets of which are communicated via main oil line to lubing points of ICE. Ultrasound chamber bottom is furnished with radiator electrically connected with ultrasound wave generator secured at tank outer surface and connected to onboard electrical circuit, while capillary oil line comb inlets are located above said radiator.

EFFECT: higher reliability at different operating conditions.
