SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a control system with a control computing device which is provided for data communication with at least one peripheral device and at least another control computing device, which is connected to said control computing device by a communication link and is configured to assume at least part of the functionality of said control computing device. The control computing device is designed such that in case of partial breakdown thereof, data received from the other control computing device through the communication link are sent to the peripheral device and/or data received from the peripheral device are sent through the communication link to the other control computing device.
EFFECT: simple design of the control system while maintaining its fail-safety.
