SUBSTANCE: method of navigating a virtual desktop includes a step of receiving from a remote computer, information describing a bounding box which defines the size of the virtual desktop. The size of the virtual desktop is based on both first display resolution information, which corresponds to a first display driver on the remote computer, and second display resolution information which corresponds to a second display driver on the remote computer, as well as on a relationship which determines how images formed by the first display driver are displayed relative images formed by the second display driver. Further, according to the method, the virtual desktop is formed, taking into account the received information which describes the bounding box. Also, graphic data received from the remote computer are sorted on the virtual desktop and the viewing region of the virtual desktop is virtualised.

EFFECT: improved navigation between user interfaces of a virtual desktop.
