SUBSTANCE: electric drive contains current regulator (1), commutation switch (2), summator (3), power amplifier (4), non-linear elements (5,6) with characteristic F(x)=x2signx, speed control unit 7, current sensor 8, multiplier 9, threshold element with characteristic F ( ε ) = { U c a t | ε | ε 0 ; 0 a t | ε | < ε 0 , where Uc is voltage corresponding to the level of a logic unit, DC motor with armature winding (11) and excitation winding (12), DC source (13), module selection box (14), speed sensor (15), comparison element (16) and speed selector (17). Improvement of power efficiency and reliability of the electric drive operation is stipulated by action in its transient operating modes of inner feedback coupling in total loss in armature winding, magnet core, brush contact and bearings. In steady conditions in the electric drive speed feedback and inner current feedback are acting. In transient processes when control error exceeds threshold value in modulus additional back coupling acts in the eclectic drive in regard to total losses thus providing minimisation of losses.

EFFECT: increasing power efficiency and reliability of operation for DC electric drive.
