SUBSTANCE: method for channel decoding in a communication system using a low-density parity check code (LDPC) includes steps of demodulating a received signal determining the position of cut information bits and decoding the demodulated signal based on the determined position of cut information bits, wherein determination of the position of cut information bits includes steps of dividing the information bits into a plurality of bit groups, determining the number of cut information bits, determining the number of cut bit groups based on the determined number of information bits that should be cut, and determining the cut bit groups based on a given order.

EFFECT: efficient support of different lengths of code words from an existing parity check matrix without the need to construct a new parity check matrix.
