SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fodder production, in particular, to a fodder additive for farm animals and birds. The fodder additive for farm animals and birds based on vegetal raw material obtained after industrial processing of cereals is introduced into the ration daily in the form of whole rye germs as part of feedstuff n a quantity of 3.5-5.5% of the feedstuff weight with quill chickens during the growing and in a quantity of 1.5-4.5% of the feedstuff weight with sucking and weaned piglets. The vegetal raw material represents rye germs containing crude protein - 26.77%, crude fat -10.86%, crude fibre - 3.12%, calcium - 0.117%, phosphorus - 0.973% and lysine - 0.83%, as well as the following vitamins, mg/kg: E - 41.28, B1 - 4.13, B2 - 1.24, B3 - 20.31, B5 - 69.25.

EFFECT: this invention usage will enable increased efficiency of young farm animals and birds growing with high survival rate and increase of daily weight gain.
