FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: centrifugal fan impeller is made with the possibility of rotation around the axis and comprises multiple primary blades. The latter are located one after another around the axis of rotation and have input ends that are internal in the radial direction, and output ends that are external in the radial direction. Each of the primary blades comprises the concave first surface and the convex second surface. The second surface is opposite to the first surface and faces the first surface of the subsequent primary blade. The first surfaces of the primary blades define arcs of primary blades. The latter include the first, second, third and fourth circumference arcs. The specified arcs stretch in the radial direction from the inner side to the outer side of the impeller, and have accordingly the first R1, the second R2, the third R3 and the fourth R4 radii. The radii R1, R2, R3 and R4 of the primary blade have ratios in the following ranges: R2/R1=1-1.1; R3/R1=1.1-1.2; R4/R1=1.2-1.5. Two versions are described for centrifugal fan design.
EFFECT: reduced dimensions of centrifugal fan and reduce its energy consumption without deterioration of operating characteristics of a centrifugal fan.
