FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: vibrational acceleration of the emitting surface of the radiator under the influence of the excitation signal is measured, for this the accelerometer is integrated in the radiator, and the radiated power is calculated by the formula: Pa=A2·Rw2, where A is acceleration; ω is circular frequency of the test signal; Rw is load resistance of the radiator on the part of fluid. The device for implementation of the method comprises a microprocessor 2 connected by the bidirectional signal bus to the communication interface 1, and by the bidirectional data bus to the digital inputs of DAC 3, which clock input is connected to the first control output of the microprocessor 2, and the output is connected to a chain of serially connected power amplifier 4, matching device 5 and underwater sound projector 6 on which emitting surface the accelerometer 7 is mechanically fixed, which outputs are connected to the amplifier 8, connected with the output to the input of the ADC 9, the digital outputs of which are connected to the bidirectional data bus of the microprocessor 2, the second control output of which is connected to the clock input of ADC 9.

EFFECT: ability to use to diagnose various types of underwater sound projectors in real conditions of their operation without use of additional measuring devices.
