FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: information device consists of a rigid frame and several demonstration elements in form of quadrilateral rotary prisms, on the outer surfaces of which there are fragments of graphic information which form whole images on both demonstration surfaces of the information device as a result of synchronous turning of the prisms about their longitudinal axes by the same angle of 90°, 180° or 270°. The faces of the rotary prisms are made from flexible film material attached behind bending-rigid guides. The quadrilateral prisms mounted in close proximity to each other are turned upon simultaneous change in dimensions thereof by moving longitudinal rods along their axes and, as a result, change in angles between the vertical and braces that are pivotally connected to said rods and keep the outer faces of the prisms at a certain distance from each other.
EFFECT: improved operating qualities of the device by reducing the thickness of the information device, enabling demonstration of varying graphic information on both surfaces thereof, and as a result of the absence of extra joints on the demonstration surfaces of the device, which negatively affect perception of the graphic information.
