FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method is characterised in the fact that the device is twisted in the ground or soil to the desired depth. The device consists of dual hollow tubes. The outer tube has equally spaced protrusions of uniform rectangular section rigidly fixed along the lateral cylindrical surface along the helical line with a constant pitch. After the device reaches the desired depth the inner tube with cohesive soils is removed from the outer tube to form a hollow space. In the hollow space a pole is placed and the outer tube is twisted out. The device is twisted using a handle.
EFFECT: method enables to reduce the physical load in digging holes in cohesive soils and to increase productivity.
