FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: before starting, perforated metal-plastic tube connected to the steam boiler is placed serpentinely on the compacted soil lot and covered with film. The lot is steamed to a depth of 20÷25 cm. After steaming the perforated metal-plastic tube with a film is removed and transferred to the next lot. The steamed lot is loosened in fragments using lever-type Lamerdonov shovels by lowering fragments of soil down into place. The working elements are extracted from the soil using pullback spring of shovels and moved to the next working position within the steamed lot by operators. The operation is repeated again after loosening of the steamed lot.
EFFECT: method enables to increase the efficiency of work perfomance during loosening of the compacted soil.
