FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurosurgery. During surgery radio-opaque substance is introduced under epineurium of peripheral nerve above the zone of its injury, and below the zone of injury - towards it. After that, X-ray examination with determination of length of affected zone is performed due to absence of opacification of affected section of peripheral nerve. Resection of said section is performed. Control of morphological structure of transverse cuts of peripheral nerve is carried out by carrying out ultrasound examination of created during resection of peripheral nerve its butt end surfaces in transverse direction. Obtained data are analysed and in case if granular structure is visualised on entire area of transverse cuts of peripheral nerve, surgery is continued. In case of complete or partial absence of granular structure visualisation, successive resection of sections of peripheral nerve of transverse cuts is performed until granular structure is visualised on their entire area.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce post-operative complications, which is achieved due to full removal of affected section.
