FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to articles from binding material with fibrous facing and to method of their production. Proposed article comprises binding core and first fibrous mat. Said mat comprises polymer or mineral fibres and water-repellant coat arranged in contact with binding core on al least one of mat surfaces. Note here that binding core is secured at water-repellant coating by forcing about 50% of mat thickness in binding core. Method of making the above said article comprises application of binding solution of first fibrous mat including polymer or mineral fibres and water-repellant coat arranged in contact with binding solution on at ;least one of mat surfaces, hardening of binding solution and securing it on water-repellant coat by forcing about 50% of mat thickness therein.

EFFECT: better water-repellant properties.
