FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to passive thermal protection of, in particular, spacecraft instrumentation and equipment. Thermostatic material comprises outer and reinforcing layers and thermostatic layer arranged there between. Outer layer is composed of polyimide film metalised on inner side that features thickness equal to or smaller than 12 mcm. Reinforcing layer consists of aramide thread with surface density of < 25 g/m2. Thermostatic layer is based on polyimides, or polyether imides, or polysulfones and introduced between said outer layer and reinforcing layer by welding.
EFFECT: stable optical parameters, higher breaking point and decreased weight.
