The housing surrounds the drum and is located at a distance from the pipe to form an annular space between the pipe and the housing. The annular space is designed to move the material of the agricultural crop in axial direction from the housing inlet end to the housing outlet end. The housing comprises a smooth transition section between the threshing section and the separating section of the housing.
