The group of inventions comprises harvester, a threshing device and a method of movement of agricultural crop material. The harvester comprises the threshing device. The threshing device comprises a housing and a rotor. The housing surrounds the rotor. Between the housing and the rotor there is an annular space. The space serves for passage of the agricultural crop material from the inlet end to the outlet end. The rear part of the rotor is narrowed in the rearward direction for increasing the volume in front of the outlet. The method of movement of the agricultural crop material through the harvester threshing device is characterized in that the rotor is provided. The elongated housing is provided. The material is fed into the inlet of the housing. The material is moved to the outlet by rotation. The amount of space is increased in the end part of the housing prior to unloading.

EFFECT: preventing stagnation of the straw material flow while changing the speed between the outlet of the housing and the straw beater.
