FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of silicates and compositions of mixtures for making glass tiles. The mixture for making glass tiles contains the following, wt %: basalt 75-90; diamond beneficiation wastes 10-25. Components of the mixture are melted until a homogeneous glass mass is obtained. The tiles are formed by casting. The obtained glass has water resistance of the II hydrolytic class.
EFFECT: high water resistance of tiles made from the mixture.
